This is the perfect
time to claim your own insights. Between now and mid April with a focus
date of April 2nd, if you really listen to your inner “voice”,
you may surprise your self by the insights that come to mind. You may
find that you have clarity of thought that is enhanced by extraordinary
vision. This favorable time is marked by the joining of Saturn in Gemini
into a harmonious angle* with the planet Neptune in Aquarius.
In order to understand
the symbolism we look first to the principle of Saturn. Saturn is a symbol
for authority (the boss). It is also where you have the opportunity to
claim your own authority by establishing your own discipline and structuring
your life around a plan. Second we will explore how it can support the
idealism of Neptune in Aquarius. Now is the time to tune in to this favorable
connection between Saturn and Neptune.
Saturn in the
sign Gemini gives structure to the mental process. It can range from worry
based on a variety of fears to a very disciplined and steady mind, intent
upon finding solutions to problems. This is the realm of communication,
education and the dissemination of ideas. The person who accepts the responsibility
for exchanging ideas can advance through communicating clearly his/her
opinions.
Neptune is the
planet that symbolizes a search for an ideal or ultimate reality. It can
inspire or confuse. Neptune has been in Aquarius since 1998. Neptune moves
so slowly that it influences whole generations. Neptune in Aquarius is
marked by joining feelings, hunches, and dreams with the more detached
but visionary ideal of a world at peace based upon humanitarian ideals.
Neptune in Aquarius is attuned to future trends; the way it could be if
we continue to dream of a world of our own design.
It will not
be easy to bring this combination into reality. It joins the quality of
Neptune, a Water (feelings/emotions) influence with the Aquarian, Air
(thinking/communicating) influence. The first impulse is to become discouraged
because the “ideal” seems an impossible dream. Yet, Neptune in Aquarius
will continue to be a background influence nevertheless. You can respond
to this influence by thinking about what you really want for your self,
your loved ones, and the world in which you live. Everything worthwhile
began with an idea and was nurtured and kept alive by Neptunian dreamers
and given structure by the hard work of Saturn’s discipline.
I have a very
special reason for bringing this challenge and opportunity to you in this
week’s Insights. I had the idea that if my readers would respond to Saturn
in Gemini by writing down what is on their mind and committing to speak
out about their opinions it could really shake and shape our country and
our world. I had this notion that while Saturn and Neptune are in Air
signs, people all over the country could express the insights and vision
of the way they as individuals want their world to be. So I spoke to friends
about my idea. The usual comment was, “Louise, no one is going to do that.
They won’t take the time or the risk of letting people know what they
think.” The real cynics expressed the opinion that most do not know the
names of their representatives.
But I wasn’t
thinking of politics alone. I was thinking about telling your friends,
your spouse, your children and if you are really brave, your neighbor,
your ideas of how things could be. Of course if you felt strongly about
some principle that you think would improve your community or your country,
it would be great to send an email, make a phone call or send a fax to
some elected person that needs to know how YOU feel about things. When
we share our thoughts we set an energy pattern in motion. You can probably
remember some situation when one or two people spoke out about something
that needed to be changed and created a remarkable trend.
So I’m curious,
are my friends right or do they underestimate the response to this period
of inspiration coupled with a strong desire to communicate? I invite you
to let me know if you are willing to listen to your own inner voice, decide
what is important to you, and be willing to share your ideas and thoughts
with those around you. There is power in the ideas expressed.
Serious and deep
thought, (Saturn in Gemini) joined with your secret hopes and dreams about
future possibilities, (Neptune in Aquarius) may never be expressed beyond
your notes to yourself. Yet, I believe your decisions in the future will
reflect this conversation with yourself. It can make even larger ripples
