You Have Questions: Astrology has Answers!

Every chart is unique, a “one of a kind” map of the Heavens on the day you were born. However, some life questions come up again and again. The following “Frequently Asked Questions” may resonate with a situation in your own life. I am offering this as a way to help you formulate your own questions. Someone else’s questions may provide insight into an unspoken question that you have about your life. My answers may help shed light upon the wide-ranging information to be found in your personal chart

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): From e-mail and telephone inquiries.

Question: I have some really big decisions to make soon. Can you point me in the right direction and help me avoid the pitfalls that may lie ahead?

Answer: Valuable information about the timing of the changes you feel are close at hand can indeed be found in your Birth (Natal) chart and the Progressed chart that outlines the trends for the year ahead. Astrology provides a look back as well as forward in time. Once we have established how you made the decisions that brought you to this place, then we can discuss how you would like your life to look in the months ahead. Understanding how you arrived at your present state of mind and circumstances can assist you in avoiding repetition of a pattern you have outgrown

Question: Can you help me understand my “short fuse”? I get really angry and say and do things I regret, but I’m over it in a hurry.  I say I’m sorry and I’m ready to move on. My family says I should learn to control my temper.

Answer: Mars is the planet in your chart that indicates how well you handle anger. By studying the connections to Mars and the sign Aries in your chart, I can often explain the kinds of issues that trigger an angry response. When you learn how important the same connections are to your zest for life and the energy you bring to everything you do, we can then design methods to direct your energy into more constructive activities. However, I believe that anger is a spontaneous response to the feeling that you are not going to be able to get what you want; much as a little one year old responds to a parent saying, “No!” The angry feelings surface first. Only then can you make a decision about how to handle the feeling. You can learn to recognize how your body feels when anger is rising. You can also learn your “hot buttons”. Armed with that knowledge, you can direct your powerful mind to make better choices.

Many questions pertain to a love relationship or marriage.

Question: Does my chart tell if my marriage will last? We love each other but we have terrible verbal battles over subjects where we disagree, then we make up. I am afraid that someday we won’t make up.

Answer: The issues around a marriage are very complex. Outside factors have a way of intruding upon the love you feel for each other. Old family patterns that each of you may feel you must defend can be a source of conflict. The charts will reveal the way you approach relationships, family patterns, religion and spiritual views, and above all money and the way it gets tied to your sense of self worth. Money and self worth also get tied into the way you deal with getting your sexual needs met. The same section of your chart that pertains to money also refers to sexual attitudes. Understanding your own drives and that of your mate will help you to fight fair in a disagreement. Disagreements can be healthy or destructive. Learn to know the difference.

Question: I feel that the “magic” has gone out of my marriage. I have tried to show him how important he is to me but it hasn’t helped. He seems to be worried about his job. Can you help?

Answer: Armed with both of your birthdays, exact time of birth and the birthplace for each of you I am sure I can define the area that is the source of the problem. People do change and this is as it should be. The problem arises when two partners change at different times and at different rates. Several patterns show dates when we begin to alter our ways of doing things. As I view each chart and then compare one to the other, it becomes clear how easily miscommunication could take place. If you knew that your husband was undergoing a challenge to his ego and his ability to earn enough for his family, it could alter the way you respond to his moods. For example: you would realize that you could talk to him about a vacation when the crisis within him has been resolved. Further you will learn a language to use to talk about your feelings that he will understand. Clients tell me that knowing the timetable can be very helpful. Magic can be restored in some cases by showing that you really do understand and are willing to LISTEN.

Question: I am changing jobs. My company ”downsized” and now I’m questioning whether or not I want to remain in this field. Can Astrology help?

Answer: One of the areas contained in your chart is the department pertaining to a life career and also how you relate to the daily job routine.  When you understand how your aptitudes and talents fit into possible job choices, you realize how many choices you have. The amount of education or the focus of your training may have limited you in the past. Opportunities to get more training or education is often shown in the Progressed chart. Learning what you feel passionate about can turn what you thought of as a hobby into a new career. The most advantageous time for making these plans is part of the information available through the language of Astrology.

Studying your Personal Astrology Report is a great beginning point for learning what a complex and contradictory person you are. It is this diverse and wonderful pattern that provides infinite possibilities to make of life what you will. The next step to rounding out your understanding is to gather the same knowledge about the other important people in your life.
